Flowserve SLC - Heavy Duty Slurry Seal
SLC Series Seals are heavy duty single cartridge seals built for the harshest slurry pump services found in mining, mineral and ore processing and flue gas desulfurization. The SLC Series is designed with a unique non-clogging con spring that increases seal reliability and enables flushless operation for low operating cost.

SLC Seal Component

Cone Spring
– Provides constant, positive pressure to the sealing faces
– Rubber coating prevents corrosion and abrasion attack upon the spring material.

Seal Faces
– ‘O’ - Ring mounted
– Easily removed and replaced by end-user

Flange
– Spigotted to ensure correct positioning of stationary face. Wet-end and dry end mount designs. Can be manufactured from most metals for corrosive and abrasive applications (includes PU coated option)

Sleeve and Clamp Collar
– Can be made from most metals for abrasive and corrosive applications.

Rotary Face Body
– Profile designed to create minimum turbulence and reduce erosion wear.
– Machined slots designed for easy removal of rotating face.

Setting Plates
– Three setting plates equi-spaced on face of flange.
– Automatically set correct working length of seal.
– Automatically centralize seal faces.
– Easily swung clear to allow seal operation.
